Sparky and Rhonda Rucker to Perform at West Virginia Independence Hall

The Ruckers perform throughout the U.S. as well as overseas, singing songs and telling stories from the American folk tradition. They are internationally recognized as leading musicians, authors, and storytellers. This 1-hour film tells the remarkable story of Davis Bottom, a diverse, tight knit, working class neighborhood established near downtown Lexington, Ky., after the Civil War. Both African Americans and immigrants established homes in this racially diverse neighborhood. West Virginia Independence Hall to Present Free Celtic Concert, March 3
