CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Independence Hall (WVIH) in Wheeling and the Culture Center in Charleston will each host a holiday music performance by Seattle-based Puget Sound Company (PSC). PSC will perform at WVIH on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the third-floor courtroom. The Culture Center will host PSC on Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. in the state theater. The hour-long event is free and open to all ages at both locations. The band also will have their merchandise available for sale.

PSC is an 8-voice vocal ensemble founded in Seattle, Wash. The group of musicians-turned-friends formed in 2018 as a wedding choir, and quickly evolved into a dedicated ensemble specializing in a cappella music. Since then, PSC has shared its special brand of close-harmony singing with audiences of all ages – from concert halls, stages and stadiums to living rooms, patios and video calls.

PSC will embark on its first concert tour outside of the Pacific Northwest from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 to share some holiday cheer with audiences across West Virginia. The draw to the Mountain State is in no small part thanks to PSC’s founding soprano, Lindsay Dawson, who is a native of Bridgeport.
