Shadyside Brass is one of the most exciting brass ensembles in Pittsburgh. Made up of five friends who share a love of brass playing, the quintet puts a new face on music for everyone. They feature many of their own arrangements, with each of the members of the group contributing to the repertoire. The quintet realized early on that creating their own arrangements was a great way to bring something new to their audiences. The members include Joe Figliulo and David DeAngelo on trumpets, Doug Peters on horn, Justin Miller on tenor trombone and Matt Tesch on bass trombone.
