Thunderstorm Forecast Prompts Two Free Labor Day Weekend Concerts at Chief Logan State Park to Move Indoors

 News…

LOGAN, W.Va. – The threat of thunderstorms during the Labor Day weekend is prompting the Aunt Jennie Music Festival to move indoors.

Museum in the Park site manager Elizabeth Williams said the pair of free concerts set for Saturday, Aug. 31, and Sunday, Sept. 1, will be held at the Pickin’ in the Park theater in the former park stables building instead of the outdoor amphitheater.  The new venue is located halfway between the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater and the campgrounds.

For more information, contact Williams at (304) 792-7229.
