DESCRIPTION:WVW’s Annual June 2025 Conference will be held at Cedar Lakes in Ripley\, WV\, June 6 through June 8\, 2025. Confirmed speakers so far are: Colleen Anderson\, Karen Salyer McElmurray\, Burke Allen\, Diane Tarantini\, Kate Long\, Tobi Doyle\, Sheila Redling\, Donna Kathryn Kelly\, Kathleen Guire\, Rhonda Browning White\, Renee Nicholson\, Tim Huguenin\, Natalie Homer\, Mike Dittman\, and John Burroughs.  Pitch sessions will be held by Patty Thompson of Redhawk Publications.\n\nOur banquet keynote speaker is New York Times bestselling author Homer Hickam\, author of Rocket Boys (the basis for the major motion picture October Sky)\, Carrying Albert Home: The Somewhat True Story of a Man\, his Wife\, and her Alligator\, and the Rocket Boys sequel\, Don’t Blow Yourself Up: The Further Adventures and Travails of the Rocket Boy of October Sky.\n\nYouth track instructors are Emily Patterson and Travis Vandal.
