DESCRIPTION:Jammin’ at the Hunkerdown – Mother’s Day – May 11th\n\nThis Mother’s Day\, May 11th\, come on down to the Hunkerdown for some great live music\, tasty food\, and a great community gathering of musicians and friends. With the days staying lighter longer\, doors will open at 4:00 PM for dinner\, and the jam session will run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. As always\, this event is free and open to the public.\n\nIf you play an instrument or sing\, grab a chair in the music circle. If you just want to listen\, we have a seat for you\, too. Tap your toes and sing along!\n\nJammin’ at the Hunkerdown is all about community and music – everything from Appalachian ballads\, bluegrass\, blues\, country\, gospel\, mountain\, and old-time to Celtic\, traditional\, and jam-friendly originals. We love it all. Acoustic instruments only\, please.\n\nThe Hunkerdown always offers something yummy for dinner at the jams\, along with assorted baked goods and signature coffee drinks. This time\, Chef Tammy will be serving Caesar Salad with house-made dressing\, loaded Broccoli Salad\, and Mexican Street Corn Pasta Salad. Chicken or bacon may be added to any of the salads. In addition\, there will be strawberry shortcake and pastries for dessert\, and festive drinks!\n\nThe Hunkerdown is at 110 Fort Springs Road in Sinks Grove\, WV.
